After unleashing electro wizard Vitalic's explosive live show at its November launch party, Brighton's most exciting electro/disco/techno clubnight Applesauce returns with none other than French electronic music pioneer LAURENT GARNIER, and his brand new LBS Show with SCAN X! This is your chance to experience four awe-inspiring hours with the French master, courtesy of Applesauce!
In his own words, Laurent Garnier "only dreamt of making people dance" from the age of ten. Laurent's remarkable journey to become one of world's most respected DJs started way back in 1980s Manchester, where he discovered the burgeoning Acid House scene at the legendary nightclub The Hacienda.
During a career spanning 25 years Laurent Garnier has released 5 celebrated albums, continued to be a radio presenter and musical trend-maker for 18 years, embarked on worldwide tours and composed for cinema, television and even ballet. Lauren Garnier is undoubtedly one of the leading electronic music pioneers and most importantly a true artist; eclectic, innovative and ever-evolving with a genuine passion for his craft.
LBS SHOW & SCAN X
Laurent Garnier has taken combining DJing and live performance to a new level with his LBS Concept (Live Boot Sessions / Loud Bass & Samples). LBS was launched in 2010 and ingeniously combines Laurent's trademark electronic music and live show elements during marathon sets.
Tonight's Applesauce line-up consists of Laurent Garnier and Scan X (aka French techno pioneer Stephane Dri), who get together for an extreme 4-hour set and are sure to drive the crowd insane!
